Michigan Business, Estate Planning, and Probate Lawyer
Wade A. Myers is a 1993 graduate of Detroit College of Law. As an undergraduate, he earned a B.S. in biochemistry from Eastern Michigan University. His scientific background and experience with legal issues involving science and technology have proved useful for many clients facing problems with soil or groundwater contamination or Phase 1 or Phase 2 environmental audits.
Prior to opening his own law firm, Wade Myers practiced with a major Detroit law firm, where he concentrated on business litigation, environmental law, and Wayne County probate. Today, he keeps his focus on advice and representation for families and businesses in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, business formation and transactions, and general counsel services ranging from corporate governance issues to commercial litigation.
His creative approach to estate planning for families of all income levels, together with his environmental law experience, have led to the development of effective trust solutions for landowners confronting difficult problems caused by a previous owner’s contamination of soil or groundwater. His estate planning advice has also helped many Wayne County families avoid the delays and difficulties that seem endemic in the Wayne County Probate Court.
